Brooke Estate Gallery provides both in-home estate sales and off-site liquidation services. We’re a bonded and insured family business serving VA, WV, MD, DC, and PA. Our goal is to provide you with outstanding service during your time of transition by handling all of the details of organization, inventory, appraisal, and liquidation of your items—ensuring that you see maximum profits swiftly, and that the process is as easy for you as possible.
Estate Sales
If you have a large number of items (or the full contents of a house) to sell, we’ll sort, price, and stage all of the items for public sale, as well as publicize, manage, and personally host the sale from start to finish. We take care of everything so you don't have to. We've sold items as small as buttons to as large as cars in estate sales.
Consignments & Downsizing
If you have a small number of items, we can consign or broker them for you. We’ll assess the market where they’ll be the most valuable (e.g., in-store consignment, online, private sale) and handle the the entire process.
Auctions
Sometimes due to turnaround and storage limitations, liquidation via auction can be the right solution. We assist our clients by offering temporary storage solutions, as well as auction appraisals, cataloging, hosting, and advertisement; or delivery, selection, and dispersal of items to appropriate venues to ensure maximum return.
No Up-Front Fees
Expense is always a concern when hiring a service. We absorb the worry by covering all of the up-front costs of labor, signage, advertising, and any extra truck, storage, or rentals required, and only get our brokerage fees from a percentage split of the net sales after your expenses have all been covered. In this way, you are guaranteed that we will do our very best as we are literally betting our own return on the success of the sale.

Handmade furniture and accessories created by local artists from reclaimed wood, repurposed furniture components, and architectural salvage are also featured exclusively at the Gilded Flea. Have a one-of-a-kind work of art in your home that is functional and sustainable. Check out the vintage instruments plus new and vintage vinyl records at our Talisman Records shop—where you can sort through rock, country, and jazz records, and even listen to them before you buy. The shop is located at 970 Washington Street, Harpers Ferry, WV, in “upper town” outside of the national park area (near the Harpers Ferry Post Office). There’s ample parking in back of the store.
